As we mentioned in our last blog, we’ve recently expanded our service offering into the Sunshine Coast. We’re thrilled to now have the ability to provide our chartered transport services to local schools, corporate events, tourism groups and other major Sunshine Coast events.
The official Sunshine Coast Depot’s Grand Opening was held on February 9th and we couldn’t be happier with the turn out. With members of the Sunshine Coast Council, local businesses, local press and some of our valued customers in attendance it was certainly an event to remember and couldn’t have happened without them.
Visit Sunshine Coast’s Marketing Manager, Simon Latchford, was quoted in a recent article Council wrote about the event, saying “The expansion is particularly exciting given the calibre of major events being staged within the region this year. “
He went on to reiterate, “The world is coming to the Sunshine Coast in 2016 and it’s terrific to have a long established company with a great reputation like Kangaroo Bus Lines able to provide high quality service to the many thousands of guests who will visit our region this year.”
We feel honoured to have received such praise and can’t wait to live up to it. In the days since our Grand Opening we’ve been fielding lots of enquiries, particularly in regard to school swimming carnival transport. We’re excited to finally have the ability to service the Sunshine Coast they way it should be and the Grand Opening is just the beginning for us.
