Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic

Kangaroo Bus Lines is currently recruiting for a Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic. The company is a family owned and operated Passenger Transport business located on the Northern side of Brisbane at Burpengary. The organisation has a large modern fleet of buses and company vehicles are looking for experienced, energetic and safety conscious individuals to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities:
Fleet Servicing
Preventative Maintenance
Scheduled and unscheduled repairs
Attend to breakdowns

To be considered for the position you must be/ have:

  • Trade Qualified - Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Certificate
  • Fleet Maintenance Experience on bus/trucks
  • The ability to work within OHS guidelines and to be safety focussed
  • Show attention to detail
  • Heavy Vehicle licence highly desirable
  • Availability to work a rotating weekend roster and call out roster if required

Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Certificate, Fleet Maintenance Experience on bus/trucks and Heavy Vehicle licence highly desirable
Special Conditions 
The workshop services three shifts, this position will predominately be servicing the evening shift.
